How To Vacuum Seal Ziploc Bags (No Machine Needed)
Hey all- I just saw this video & thought some of you might appreciate knowing how to help preserve your frozen prey when they're not individually packaged (& most are not) without needing to buy a vacuum-sealing device. Especially handy for those with just one or a few snakes to feed- regular ziploc freezer bags can be used- who knew? I haven't personally tried this, but it's pretty simple & appears effective, so have a look:

When I'm vacuum sealing (or as close to vacuum sealed as I can get) meats etc, I use a straw. I zip or close the bag up to the straw and suck the air out. Once I get most of the air out I pull the straw out (while still sucking air) and zip it shut. Works pretty well and no wet bag or chance to get water inside.
