Green iguana color change help pt 2
If you have read the thread you know the details but I don’t know how to add on to it so I will here. In brief my 2 1/2-year-old green iGuana moved to my moms house she owns a small dog and his cage is now much bigger, and I can’t see him a lot because I am at college most of the time. I come home and he’s now brown and I am told that that is not a good thing to be for a green iguana. His belly is bright green but other than that he’s almost bruised color. I say here but he is a female, sorry. Anyways I just want to know if it’s OK that he is this color, Recently finished shedding about a week ago I think.
The first link is for about two weeks ago : https://photos.app.goo.gl/Rvm3sMLTkcE7rCB99
the second link is present day: https://photos.app.goo.gl/EyMxc4xgS4LhGM8MA

he seems to be eating healthy, and we feed him a very varied diet, temperature is fine also. The only thing that has changed is that he is in a cage at my moms and I only see him every other week.

Your best bet is still a vet check with one who is experienced with these creatures. We cannot diagnose a creature online & it's inappropriate for any of us to try. A photo is not the same thing as going to the vet's office with a live animal.

I really can't tell what's going on from the pictures. But he's eating and looks lively so that's good. Maybe stressed by the dog or the move? How recent was that? You said temps were fine, do you verify them with a temp gun, thermometers, or how? Does he have a UV bulb and is it kept fresh?
