    Sobek-Ra
Despite all the very distracting feline health issues (she's worse now, but at least she doesn't know it and seems happy... :sigh2: ) I am still working and getting stuff done... No, really!

    See?

I don't know why I felt like portraying Sobek with a human body but not Unut. Probably cause I have a bunny named Unut. I like it though, and may very well do any other Egyptian deities the same way, more traditionally how they were depicted by the ancient Egyptians rather than anthropomorphic. I dunno, it'll probably depend on the piece. I enjoyed working on him, crocs are awesome and he's a really fascinating and powerful figure. Plus, look, I draw boys too! :omfg:

Got prints and shirts and stuff up in the shop ifn you're interested, and finally plus sizes for women too! At least on the Blue Gorgon stuff, my connection has been wonky so the Full Circle section still needs work.

    Thanks for lookin!

Thanks Kristy! I love Egypt too, so much beautiful stuff to draw from. The more ancient something is the more appreciation I seem to have for it, it seems. There's a Thoth piece in the ink pile I'm looking forward to getting to, much more simplified than Sobek here. I'll probably get to Bastet and them too, but I always like to start with the more obscure. :) I learn a lot researching each piece, it's a lot of fun.

That is awesome. I always love a man in eyeliner :) I love the theme, and you are so great at human-figure drawing; not an easy thing to do.

Hehe, more men should wear eyeliner! I know Neptune agrees. ;) Thank you! Life drawing and color theory were some of my favorite classes, I'm pleased that it shows. I'd really like to take more life drawing classes eventually.

Ooo, I hadn't considered Selket! *adds to the list* Egypt wise I've been thinking of Hathor and Taweret too. :) There's so many beautiful dieties to work with, it's hard to keep up with the inspiration!

Glad you like the website too! Now if I can just get myself to work on the danged photo gallery. :P

I know it was forever ago you suggested the Selket piece, but I'm in penciling mode, and am just getting started on her. Loving it! Especially since I just remembered that scorpions glow under blacklite, I'm going to have a ton of fun with coloring.

It'll probably be a good while before she's done, since I have a whole pile of things needing inking and coloring, but I was just so delighted and grateful for the idea I had to mention it. :) Thank you again, Monty!!:colbert2:
