Is it normal for babies to want to bite everything possible?

I just got a 1 month old female lesser and she wants to do nothing but bite me! i've left her alone to get comfortable in her new home but even when i go up to the glass to look at her she does the whole 'S' shaped neck thing and then eventually lunges! its actually quite comical but i was also concerned that this girl is gonna be a handful when time to feed/clean.. so i guess the question is.. will she grow outta it?

    thanks!

how long have you had her?
    how is your temps?
    does she have proper hides?
    how big of tank?
are 3 sides of the tank covered or just open?
    is she eating fine?

if your husbandry is fine put her in, cover the tank and leave her be for a week. She needs time to adjust to her new environment and as far as she is concerned you are the jolly green giant looking to eat her.

I have had my bee for about 3 weeks now and though he eats like a monster he is still very timid.

if your husbandry is fine and you have only had her a few days she is probally just stressed out.
give her a week to settle in.

I agree. All of my hatchling have a hair trigger. They want to eat, to grow as quickly as possible, in order to be less of a target for predators. Also they think everything is a threat.

Yup. They are babies. All baby balls are very skittish and hungry. If it moves, it's a target.

All hatchlings are nippy but they will grow out of it. I feed mine every 4 days.
