How exactly can you measure the rate of digestion at home? Or the faster growth? Or are you just eyeballing it?

Sorry dude but i wouldnt put too much into the cut mouse thing. Ive heard about it numerous times and theres no proof to back it up .
As have been said already you cant prove anything with just 2 weeks of observation its take a good couple years at least with various groups , also id say that the cut mice would have to be the same size and weight to compare each snakes digestion/growth rate - ie one snake eating the normal way and the other snake eating a cut mouse of the same size and weight as the uncut mouse and compare each snakes growth over a few years , and even then all snakes grow at different rates anyway even if the same species are fed exactly the same times and with same food items , so even then you cant prove they are growing faster by eating cut mice .

Sorry if my ealier post sounded abit rude lol , it wasnt meant to be
i cant see feeding them like this would cause any harm as a lot of mice do pop when they eat them.
im just abit old fashioned and feed my snake the tried and tested way

Re: A thing I learned.
I did it with my corn snake for a few months... I got bored with cutting them (LOL), so I stopped. I didn't notice any difference in growth rates, but I only did it for a little while, and I have nothing to compare against.

You do realize that that's about as scientific as me saying - my snake has greater growth rates when I hop on one foot and give a good chin rub, than when I stand on my head and tickle the tail.
Sorry but it sounds hokey to me.
