    Enclosure for a Carpet Python

    Hi --

I currently have a custom wood enclosure that I built for my normal ball python a year ago. If I had known then what I know now, I would have just built a nice rack for the same amount of money (or less).

So, now I am planning on building/buying a rack, and I was thinking about putting a carpet python in the display cage, and moving the bp to the rack.

Question is, is my custom enclosure large enough for a carpet? It has the same footprint as a 29g aquarium (I custom built it to fit on a stand that I already had). So, the measurements are 30x12x16 (LxWxH).

    Thanks in advance!
    George

Temporarily yes but you will have to upgrade to something bigger.

    Thanks -- I guess I won't mess around with it -- I meant as a permanent enclosure.
