    Quick flexwatt question

I have all Animal Plastic racks ( 3 five slot racks) that use 3in 6watt/ft running off of a Vivarium Electronics VE-200, I got a hatchling rack from a friend and noticed it has 4 in flexwatt, my question is would it be okay to run the hatchling rack off the same t-stat or should I buy another t-stat? The hatchling rack has roughly 12 feet of 4in flexwatt.
    Thanks for the help!

You should probably buy a separate T-stat, unless your current T-stat has a multi temp probe/setting feature (like the Herpstat 2/4).
When running flexwatt on a thermostat, the heating elements should be identical. If you run different sizes, the temps will be different due to different wattage and power going into the flex.

So your smaller flexwatt will probably get hotter than the bigger ones.
Plus hatchlings tend to favor the cooler end of the hot side spectrum.

different widths and lengths of flex a watt will heat differently

    Re: Quick flexwatt question

Alright another t-stat it is! I use my other t-stats on my incubators so I don't want to mess around with pulling those off and on every time.
