    My babies

I posted this in the welcome section of the forum becuase some one asked for pictures but since no one appears to have looked at it there I am reposting it here.

This is our female, she is about a year old and 325 grams. She had a bad shed (seen in pic) recently but she is back to her normal self .

This is male, he is also around a year old and approximately 280 grams.

This is the two of them together on my pool table

This is me with our female who thought it would be a good idea to be a tie.

Lastly I know this is a ball python forum but I couldn't resist this is our dog tigger sitting too the side during the other pictures trying to figure out what the heck was so exciting to his humans

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

great looking snakes, glad the little girl got her shed down.

are you sure of their ages/weights? for full yearlings ( hatched this time last year) those weights are very very low. If those are the correct weights and ages id suggest getting a parasite check /fecal float done on them asap.

Well I got them in last October and they were about 2 months old. They eat on a regular basis and have never rejected a meal. Now the weights could be off a little I used an old non-digital weight watchers scale. So the tension could be off I never tested it with anything but and it also possible I didn't calibrate it right. What are symptoms of parasites? other then just small?

As far as the reduced one I dont know what happened to it.

Sorry I missed you on the intro thread, but welcome!

Reduced = reduced PATTERN in case you were wondering what everyone meant. And I like that one as well. Nice contrast in colors.

Without knowing the weight at birth and what prey items are being offered, I wouldn't necessarily jump to conclusion of parasites. Some snakes grow very quickly and others slowly.

Of course, having a check for parasites (fecal float) can never hurt. Some signs of parasitic infections can range from slow growth to regurgitated meals to runny stool.

Also I wanted to say welcome as well. If you need anything do hestitate to shout.
