when to cut the cord?
okay i have this little busy patterned orangy thing with lots o alien heads that popped out of its egg with the cord attached. it popped out on wednesday and the part of the cord that is attached to the yolk is almost gone but the umbilical attached to the snake is still very much there and still quite big.
so when do you cut these? or should i leave it?
am i being impatient???

Re: when to cut the cord?
NEVER!!!!
The umbilicus will detach on its own..once they come out there will be a little left just leave that be to it'll dry up and fall off also..

Re: when to cut the cord?
Like the Frawg said, DON'T.
Too many possible problems arise with it.
You could kill your baby that way.
Leave it alone to fall off...

Re: when to cut the cord?
Post a picture of the baby, it kind of sounds like you hatched a classic jungle ball which are always cool.
