    Everybody love the pics so here are some of my new JCP, "Chewbacca". His friends know him as "Chewie"; his enemies know him as long as he lets them live. :P Actually, he's a really cool snake and we're getting comfy with each other fast! Some bio facts:

    Age: ?? The pet store guys seemed to think he would grow more - to at least 6'.
    Size: Not sure here. He's got to be longer than 5'. He's about as big around as a 12oz soda can in the middle. His neck is about as big around as my thumb.
    Origin: A local breeder was trading him for a boa of some sort at my local exotics store. I happened to be in there wanting to buy a carpet and they flipped him to me right there. He kept saying Chewie was from Bob Clark's collection.
    Cost: $225
    Cage: 90g glass tank.
    Disposition: He's a huffer, not a biter. Taming fast but always commands respect!
    Personal: He enjoys sleeping, draping on branches, and eating rats.
    Other: I've never seen him drink....

    Nice lookin fella - glad to hear your getting used to one another as well.


    Looking forward to the proud daddy pic draped over your shoulders - hopefully without any visible blood.:P

    His pattern does align into a stripe there for a while doesn't it? I'm noticing things in the photo I don't see "in person".
