No way to know- immune systems are not created equal, whether human or snake. And you're no "bother"-:gj: The main thing is to keep a listen for any changes, & try not to imagine* an increase. *It's normal to be just a little paranoid...;) It might also help (IF it's actually an RI) to raise the temperatures just by about 2 or 3* if you can- that's been known to help an RI. (Stay under 90* max on warm side- & pay attention- if your snake totally avoids the warm side & hugs the water bowl or dives in, she's likely too warm. Keep a close watch on the temps for safety- snakes always need a "cooler" side for safety & health.)

In that case if it doesn稚 go away after a few months but nothing else happens then hopefully she値l be okay. If I see any other signs then I値l take her to see the vet as soon as possible. I値l update in a few months with whatever happens

Sounds reasonable, & yes, we'd love an update too.

I'll just add to the reassurances above. I had a bp with a minor respiratory infection. I took him to the vet. My vet advised me to get a larger heat mat. Mine was too small. It turns out that was enough. No injections needed. So, even if your boa has an infection, it may not need antibiotics. TLC may do the trick. Good luck.
