We had some trouble with the CITES but that did finally come through last summer. Unfortunately 'life' got in the way and the snakes have had to wait. I didn't want Adam being concerned about them while his little boy was ill... so we (happily) postponed getting the snakes shipped.

Then came winter LOL and storms, and more storms... and then there were storms LOL

So... hopefully soon the weather will clear up and allow my beautiful snakes (which are no longer hatchlings) to come into my care. I just hope they approve the down-grade they'll be getting from Adam's loving hands to mine cause really... if I was a snake, I'd wanna live with him LOL

Anyway... I'm feeling like it's really going to happen. It's been a long haul - but... patience is a virtue I have mastered... and I can master it a little longer... so Mother Nature... please don't feel you have to postpone this any further!

Adam is amazing, caring for these snakes for a year and a half... not charging me any extra while he fed and cleaned their poop ... and I am very appreciative. Other breeders may have thrown in the towel and given up on us... but he's a trooper - he's patiently waited this out on his end. He deserves a BIG pat on the back!

So... all we are waiting for is good weather on the east coast... as that's where the snakes need to transfer flights.

And... maybe if we all ask super nicely... Adam will take some pics of them for us!

and here's the original pics of 4 of our snakes... cause i just can't stop posting pics tonight!

this is what they looked like... back when we purchased them:

VPI Pastel Male: lil' dude cause he was one... so cute.

Lemon Girl: Comet (due to the comet tail on her neck stripe)

Het female: I fell deep in love with her the second I saw her - Peanut

Het Male: Doesn't he look like royalty?
