    Question Just planning future projects and looking for results of this, to that. Thanks

    Sorry if this a repeat thread. However, I'm trying to figure out the results of taking a 0.1 Albino that I'd like to join with a 1.0 Bumble Bee, then taking the 0.1 (bumble bee het albino) baby and breeding it with the father.

    What would that produce? I figure if I start planning out exactly what I want for the next four + years, I can aim to get my plans that I'm writing down now.

    So far, I have 2.2.

    0.1 -2010 Albino

    0.1 -2012 Spider

    1.0 -2011 Enchi

    1.0 -2010 Normal (possible het ghost, not confirmed but mentioned by someone with 20 years experience)

    I would love to add 1.1 Lesser, 1.1 Pastel, and 0.1 Red Axanthic

    Then build from there. Thanks everyone for helping and or just taking a look.

    You can use this to plug in all the possible combos you want to breed and see what the results might be:

    I'm all over that site, and the wizard doesn't cover a lot of hets, or more common morphs, like stinger bee, or even bumble bee. So, it doesn't actually help with my planning.

    You have to ctrl-click each component of each morph, and there is a "het" listed for each of the recessive genes.

    Bumblebee = pastel + spider.
    Stingerbee = enchi + spider.
    Bumblebee het albino = pastel+spider+het albino.
    And so on.

    It's an excellent calculator.

    It does not specifically have bumblebee or stingerbee in the wizard, but you can add more than one trait to either the male or the female. For example for a bumblebee male you can highlight both spider and pastel which would inherently equal a bumblebee. You can pick more than one trait by holding either the ALT or CTRL (it is different for different operating systems, for mine i hit the windows key) key while selecting traits.
    1.1 Normal
    1.2 Pastel
    1.0 Spider
    1.0 Pinstripe
    1.0 Mojave
    1.1. Het Albino

    Coming Soon: 0.1 Lesser

    You can definitely work with things like bumble bees in that wizard - you just have to select the "ingredients" - basically, using this example if you wanted say the male to be a bumblebee, to select the multiple genes you have to select 'pastel', hold alt, and select 'spider.'

    You can work with hets also, for sure...

    If you took 0.1 Bumblebee het. Albino and bred it with the father, 1.0 Bumblebee... You could get normals, pastels, spiders, bumblebees, killer bees, and super pastels, all 50% het albino. Unless I'm reading your proposal wrong.

    no, that's fantastic. this gets all confusing for a newb like myself. which is why I'm trying to do a 5-7 year plan before I really get into it. I think researching way before hand, will help me avoid failure later on :-)

    thanks
