Re: Let's get this up & running again

    Aww thanks guys
It was organized through my uni and we were competing against the other universities in the province. Our school's goal: $20,000 What we raised: $50,000. I mostly just mentioned it to people and they'd go and then donate right away. My dad and my work also gave me a lot of the money. It's pretty amazing to wake up one morning able to have a ponytail then you wake up the next morning and move to run your fingers through your hair and meet scalp!
It was a big thing for me because a role model of mine when I was little did the same thing, and I finally got to. I think it's a great way to raise money, and continue to keep the charity in people's minds while your hair grows back. And feeling that buzzer and watching the longest hair you've ever had fall to the floor... It's WILD! I highly suggest it to anybody!

Great idea to raise money! How wonderful ! Actually you look great in the short hair, it draws more attention to your eyes. Which is nice. Who knows you may like to keep it short!!

If my boyfriend's family has anything to do about it, it'll stay short. The only problem is that it can make me look like a boy!
