BP housing

I have a 3 foot female and a 4 foot male, that i house in a 4x2x2 cage. i was wondering if that was ok, i havnt heard anything about that being bad as long as their both feeding fine, witch they are.They dont seemed to be stressed at all so i think there fine. also does anyone know how many gallons a 3x2x1 1/2 cage is? thanks

Universally - one cage per snake, one snake per cage.

General advice goes against housing two BPs in the same enclosure. Even if they seem fine, if a health issue were to arise, it would quickly spread from one to the other. If you find suspicious looking stool, how would you know which snake it belonged to?

i always know witch stool is witch because the female has smaller ones then the male.

And what about the potential health issues?

there both very healthy and if one gets sick, i will seperate it to a different enclosure until it is healthy again.

By the time you realize one is sick, it will most like have already affected the other. There's no shortage of experienced herpers who will tell you that housing BPs together is not a good idea.

The prime argument here being if one gets sick it is HIGHLY likely both will get sick. Mites x 2, parasites x 2 etc with no way to distinguish who gave it to who. Just please read through that entire thread as excellent points are brought up from competition for hides, feeding, illness, ad infinitum.

It's your decision to make from there but there are VERY good and extremely VALID reasons why you see that poll so decidely biased to single snake/cage solutions.

Cubic feet x 7.48 = gallons

(googled that - I am enumerate actually)
