    Re: Cats with mats/dreads

Very cute, and I'm sure she's much happier now.

I have a blue Persian cat, who won't let me near him with a comb - at least not without a trip to the E.R. So if I don't keep up with his regular professional groomings (at around $80 a pop), he ends up with the ever popular lion cut...

    Re: Cats with mats/dreads

Yeah, it's unfortunate when you get a cat that's so stuck in it's ways that it won't allow even basic grooming care from anyone other than itself. And when you're in that predicament it's best to hand it to the professionals.
Lucky for me, my long haired cat is super anal about grooming himself. He even flosses the hair between his toes with his teeth, it's kinda creepy, but even with 2" long toe hair he has never once had a mat. He also wastes time grooming my female shorthair too -_- he's a good cat.
