Bumblebee x Super Pastel Butter
So, I am exploring my options for my next female. I already have my Bee male. I am terrible at Punnett squares, so can someone help me out with what I could get from crossing him to a super pastel butter? Thanks!

Re: Bumblebee x Super Pastel Butter
From the Super Pastel Butter 100% get 1 Pastel gene
From the Bumblebee 50% get 1 Pastel Gene
50% Super Pastel 50% Pastel
From the Super Pastel Butter 0% get 1 gene for Spider
From the Bumblebee 50% get 1 gene for Spider
50% Spider 50% Normal
From the Super Pastel Butter 50% get 1 Butter gene
From the Bumblebee 0% get 1 Butter gene
50% Butter 50% Normal
Combine the first 2 (Pastel and Spider) and get
.5x.5 = .25
25% Super Pastel Spider
25% Super Pastel
25% Pastel Spider
25% Pastel
Combine the former combination with the Butter and you get the end results
.25x.5 = .125
12.5% Super Pastel Spider Butter
12.5% Super Pastel Spider
12.5% Super Pastel Butter
12.5% Super Pastel
12.5% Pastel Spider Butter
12.5% Pastel Spider
12.5% Pastel Butter
12.5% Pastel

Re: Bumblebee x Super Pastel Butter
Yes there are sites that can do it for you, however I prefer the way I explain it, instead of seeing results you see how to arrive at the results, even without the full on punnet square. A 2 or 3 gene square becomes extremely complicated and often certain things will be scattered around, instead of being nice and orderly.
Wizards are useful, but learning how to figure it out yourself is priceless.

I definitely still want to practice so I can do it myself, but that is a very cool quick-reference tool.

Oh, and numbers to remember: 50%, 25%, 12.5%, 6.25%. Usually thats as far down as you'll really come across. Also, remember that if you are going to get 66% possible hets then you multiply whichever number by 3, getting 75%, 37.5%, and 18.75%, that will eliminate your 2 hets and 1 normal. That's for recessive genes when breeding 2 100% hets together, mind you.
