here's the salt tank in the evening... with the metal halides off and the blue actinic lights on:



and here's the salt tank with no flash... so this is what it actually looks like in the evening:



many of the soft corals etc are closed up and sleeping now.

and this is what it looks like with the moonlights on and nothing else you can't really tell in the pics but many of the soft corals glow a gorgeous green, orange and pink all night long. absolutely breathtaking!

wow, that is an awesome tank set-up! i love the moon lighting and those corals at night have some gorgeous colors!
