Re: my snake made a burrow!
and here i clicked on this thread cause i was happy to see others had posted to assisted this new member with his problem... and alas... nope.
so i'll just repeat my advice again... hoping to inspire others to post something helpful
unless of course you all think i've answered this questions soooooo perfectly that nothing needs to be added
how small are your two hides? sometimes when their hides aren't a tight enough fit (they like them to be small) then they'll make a small hide for themselves.

Re: my snake made a burrow!
my Nagaina has been "burrowing" for the past few days. never seen her do it before, and has since stopped. she had also been out checking things out in ger cage during that time, which she also took the opportunity to try a jail-break...unsuccessfully

Re: my snake made a burrow!
Aleesha is right. your snake is hiding uner the waterbowl (NOT BURROWING AT ALL) because his hide/s are insufficient. ill put my money on it that if you provide to SUFFICIENT hides on the warm and cool area of the enclosure the snake will not go under the water bowl.
Brian, dont start with the "ball pythons burrowing" stuff. we prved and explain to you how they don;t and all you can do is come up with 2 websites that someone (with most likely no credentials) wrote up and example of what a noob with an unexperienced eye MIGHT CONSIDER "burrowing". a ball python hiding under its waterbowl is not burrowing. this is a actual burrowing animal, burrowing:

can someone PLEASE show me a picture of an actual burrow that a ball python has made (and can prove that the ball python made it) with a ball python in it then. any takers?
if they do so their must be pictures and proof correct? i mean, ackies are known burrowers and i can prove that my ackie has made and uses a burrow. he is th only animal in that cage (besides feeder roaches) so he is the only animal in there that has possibly made a burrow. i can prove it! its not hard!

Re: my snake made a burrow!
Look, this has been resolved (without a shadow of a doubt!) in the other thread. Could we please stick to the subject in hand?

Re: my snake made a burrow!
ok. the question was, "has anyone ever seen a snake do this?" so the answer is, "yes". snakes do this to hide if the provided hides are not suitable. its not burrowing.
