    Golly gee willickers, someone noticed.

Um... does a blue candy cane explain it?

Yes, the blue candy canes explain it. As a matter of fact, I have a few sitting within arms reach right now.

Think I might grab a green or red one next time. They are the SweetTart brand ones - lots of food dye!

BTW, our BP has a pink tongue, but the tip seems grayish. And our little KSB has a tiny pink/apricot colored tongue.

The Jungle Carpet Python I just picked up has a black tongue and a blue/gray mouth (inside) - he didn't even eat a candy cane!

Yeah JCPs and anacondas both have purple blue mouths and tongues. Can be rather unnerving if you aren't used to a blue mouth.

It's very cool! Makes the long-awaited yawn even more coveted.

So, can we call it fate that I got a JCP shortly after I changed my avatar? I didn't even know about their mouths until I went to pick him up, and he graced me with a yawn.
