    He's Here! BCA-in-a-box

Thankfully, my new BCA arrived safely today.
He was a little cold on arrival but once I got him warmed up he started hissing and acting exactly as I had hoped/expected

Here's the pics so far - taken in a big hurry as I unpacked and weighed him so I could hustle him into his nice warm home.

Here he is in his shipping tub...a little cold but alert and with good muscle tone

Nice red belly colors! Very colorful snake with lots of pinks and reds. Sorry about the blurry photo.

Quick stop on the scale - again blurry and apologies

In his home warming up and showing awesome 'tude

He's such a noodle! My BP looks humongous compared to this youngster.

If anyone has name suggestions I'd love to hear them.
    He's a male 2007 South Brazilian Amarali.

I actually agree with Connie too. When I read that I was like, "that should be his name!" and then Connie said it. Beat me to it...

Congratumalations on his safe arrival! ^_^

Awwww lookit him! Love those pink sides! He's only going to improve with age, too!! You'll have so much fun with him, every single time I clean a cage or fuss with my amaralis they just blow me away!

He's got a tail just like my Lola! Those big cherry red splotches are outSTANDING! More pics once he settles in please!

Oh I'd shorten it to Amar, that just so suits him! What a lovely snake he is. I'm so glad to read he got there safe and sound.

It's funny...I have a friend named Amr (pronounced Amer) so I really would have trouble naming my boa something close to that. Amr is this great big swishy guy who's mental image I'd prefer not to call up every time I think about my pet
