Re: Are You A Thread Necromancer?
I have a strict rule against bringing up a thread thats been on this forum for longer than I have. Can't enforce that on others though, nor would I want to.
Having said that though, I just set a reminder in my BlackBerry to bring this thread back up exactly one year from now.

Why do you do it?
If a thread has not had a reply for months or even years, why reply to it now?
I see this behavior on every forum I've ever gone to. It doesn't happen a lot here but I have seen it. There's one over in the python forum now that was resurrected by LukeWild1982 on 1/6/2009 that was last replied to on 1/22/2007 -- http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=35465
It can't be a mistake. The dates are pretty obvious. The only way you even got the post was using a search function or going back in the archive manually. So you know it's an old post.
I've never understood this. So if you are into thread resurrection, please explain why?
Thanks.
Maybe they thought that since you weren't here for that thread you might enjoy it.
