Why instead of Private or some other rank does it say CHiP CHiP under my name?

It's a brand-new special rank! We've come up with this rank to designate our Compulsive Hyper interweb Posters. If you have been give this rank, that means that the mod team has noticed a special effort on your part to drive up your post count by posting the same thing in multiple places, posting one response in multiple posts, or otherwise posting more quantity than substance.

You can earn your way into this rank and you can earn your way back out of it again by posting relevant original posts or responses, using your Edit button when you think of something add after you hit the Submit button, and keeping your posts in the section for that subject or purpose.

i like this idea though, it will allow people to know who those type of people are, and its not really mean, like other sites

i think they made up this new "special rank" becuase of that stupid thumb war thing that went one the other night,i have no clue what all that was even about (but its ok,i dont want to so dont explain)

Wow..........I have now reliezed that there is no room for humor on this site I will try and tone it down a little everyone. Also I wasnt trying to move my rank up with that thumb war thing it really was just meant as a joke. I mean rank doesnt really mean anything does it?

^ To some people, it does, yeah. I think it has more to do with posting non-topical things than posting a lot. I've posted 200+ since I've joined, but I try to keep everything on topic. I just have a hard time shutting up.

i dont really think rany means that much, if we were ranked on how much we actually know about snakes,how much we are liked by people here,what kind of posts we post and stuff like that i know some of us (even me) would prolly not be the ranks we are.You just get ranked on how many posts you make, i could sit here all day and just type BLAH BLAH BLAH and of course my ranking would go up (but, i would most likely get banned too)

and once again sorry if i came off a little insensitive or mean up there,i didnt mean to.
