Wow! That's just nuts!! Glad to hear that the snake is going to be ok!
And there we have another one of those warnings that people look at and just shake their heads because everyone knows the warning wouldn't be given if SOMEone out there hadn't tried it. "Don't leave plugged in electric blankets in your burm's cage!" ......amazing....

That is sad why would it eat a blanket. From HUNGER? And it took 6 hours to get it down. That is really sad

Wow. I think next time he feeds his snake maybe he should leave the blanket out.
I would guess it got tangle in the food like the article stated and once he had half down he had to keep going.
Why would you use an electric blanket in the cage !?!

Glad snake is OK but where did those people learn their husbandry techniques
