    How heavy?

What is the heaviest egg you have weighed that of course went on to hatch, I'm curious to see the ranges on eggs.

    Thanks for any input!

140 grams for me. If I remember right, the hatchling was about 90 grams.

    Re: How heavy?

Never had eggs before, but this is an interesting topic! How 'bout listing the smallest eggs you ever had, and if they went on to hatch, the weight of the baby, too?

    Re: How heavy?

I'm not an egg weigher so I have nothing to add. I leave the eggs intact and put them right in the incubator.

Only done a weight if they look bigger then normal, otherwise, they go straight into the incubator also.

    Re: How heavy?

I don't weigh individual eggs, just the entire clutch. Based on averages, I would say around 120 grams - most hatched out at around 85 grams.

Earlier this year we had a roughly (I don't rmember the exact weight) 65 gram egg. This egg was hlaf good and half "boob". Well it hatched, and the snake weighed 24.0 grams. She was a hard belly and lost more weight once I palpated her solid yolk out, now down to 18.5 grams. Then I assist fed her a pinkie mouse, but I don't think her digestive system worked properly. She did live for about 5 weeks before she died.

Me either. I might weigh one of Bela's big ones next time I peek in for an air exchange.. but maybe not.
