Bad news.....nightmare
The last egg pipped...the head of the baby is completely deformed. There seems to be only one eye and the eye that is there is oversized and cloudy. The lower jaw is coming over the front of the nose and on top of the upper jaw. I'm gonna call this one and say it won't be able to feed. I couldn't ask for worse...killing a snake.
My question is, what do you guys think is the best way to do this?
And don't tell me to post pics please. If I wanted to I would have. I might change my mind but please don't ask.

Re: Bad news.....nightmare
what i have heard from some big breeders is freeze them
i know it sounds harsh but its pain will be gone
some people also feed them to like savannah monitors or tegus , but you probably wont want to do that

I second that notion, seeing it would definately help people give more informed suggestions....

im sorry you have to deal with that... in a perfect world it would make it.. perhaps giving it a try would be worth a shot.. i have never been in that position before though. If I had to I suppose I would have it humanely put to sleep.

Death is death, how would seeing it help?
I just want some suggestions on forms of death. I know alot of people freeze but I don't believe this is humane enough. Will the dry ice/water chamber work the same for snakes as it does feeders?
