Thank you I have been reading since my Mom let me join this site. This is my first BP but, not our first snake. We have a creamsicle corn snake. But this guy will be my very own.

Thank you! I am so excited. I have everything set up. I have been reading every care sheet I could find. His tank is all ready. All I have to do is plug the heater in Tuesday morning so it will be warm when he gets here. He will be in my room and I don't let my litttle brothers in there so he will have plenty quiet time to settle in.

Hi,

Good looking snake.

It might be an idea to plug the heater in and let it run for a couple of days before he gets here so you can double check the temperatures are ok.

It's a lot easier to tweak and adjust things before he takes up residence.

You could also put up a thread giving details of your tank and people could double check things for you.

Main things would be to have good reliable digital thermometers with probes ($10 approx from walmart I hear ) and some way of regulating the heat source.
