    Univited Guest

I did some field herping this morning. Well not really, but sort of. And just let me say.... Let this be a lesson to all of you people that go into those all you can eat places. And then over stuff your self and can't make it out the door.

So I went to water the mice this morning and one, was either missing or some how, had transformed into a really fat rat snake.

Poor guy was able to get through the quater-inch square screen, to get his meal, but to fat to make his escape.

That's funny! One time I had a humane animal trap set out and a toad managed to set the trap off and get caught inside. Then a garter snake crawled through the wire, ate the toad, but couldn't get back out because it was too fat!

What's crazy... Is that the mouse cage was in my basement about four feet off the ground resting on a pipe that runs along the wall. So I'm not quite sure how he got to the cage.

He was a fiesty little guy. In the picture where he is climbing out of the container he was almost out when my dog felt like she needed to investigate and got a bite on the nose for her trouble.
