Need pics of clutches with two fathers
Friends daughter needs some for a science fair project....any pictures you can share would be helpful....
example...if you breed a normal female to a pastel male and later to a spider male and the clutch had both pastels and spiders....
Thanks...

Had 5 such clutches last season. This is my most shocking.
I do have another: Butter/Bumble Bee X Yellow Belly that is pretty nice as well. I can post it, but need to transfer pics -- let me know if you need it. Good luck to your daughter on the project!

Two lessers, a cinnamon and four normals:

This clutch was from a normal female bred by a lesser male and a cinnamon male.

Wow I didn't even know you could do that, I think when I get my Fire and Lemon I'll end up breeding both to my female Pastel, thus hopefully getting some fireflies and some super pastels. \m/n ^_^ n\m/

Re: Need pics of clutches with two fathers
I thought 1st of all, if you breed anything with a normal it would just be a HET. like a female normal X male spider = het spiders
And wats all this female with different males will produce several different babies in one clutch?
Only been the snake thing for less than a year so I dont know all this, any links or anything would be great

Re: Need pics of clutches with two fathers
Well since alot of the morphs are codom, if its a normal x codom, half will be normal, half will be the morph. Spiders are codominant. Now, if it was an albino, or hypo (ghost), then albino x normal = het albino, and hypo x normal = het hypo, because these are recessive morphs. I think we have a thread here somewhere that has a list of codom morphs, recessive morphs, and dominants.
I think when females are locking up they're not utilizing the sperm at the given moment, they store it away. And apparently if you put two males to a single female, there is a possibility that she will have sperm from both males. But it doesnt work like, albino male and spider male to normal female = albino spider babies. The sperm from both males wont mix together, it will just fertilize separate eggs.
But I don't breed, so I'm sure someone else can explain that heaps better lol
